Ajarn Siripornuma Khampirarak

Associate Professor Dr Pornprom Chomngam is a scholar and professional in public relations.  She has a great deal of experiences in designing and developing strategic public relations plan for public, private, and nonprofit organisations.  She is also invited to be a guest speaker, part-time lecturer, examiner, and reviewer.  Likewise, she has published a wide range of academic and research papers in well-known local and global journals and conferences.
Associate Professor Dr Chomngam received her PhD in Interpersonal Communication, Master's degree in Communication, and Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Bangkok University, Thailand.

Assistant Professor Dr Pong Wisessang is currently hired on a year-year contract with the School of Communication Arts, Bangkok University. Before signing the contract, he had worked at the Bangkok University for 27 years. He used to chair the Broadcasting Department Head for about eight years.

Prior to working as a lecturer at Bangkok University, he was working as a foreign news correspondent at the BBTV (Ch-7) for about eight months, a promotion manager at the King Power Duty Free for about 3 months, and a consultant at a television production company for about 5 years.

His study in the university level started at the Keystone Junior College, La Plume, Pennsylvania before transferring to the Southeast Missouri State University to finish my undergraduate degree, major in Business Administration, and minor in Broadcasting. Then he crossed the Mississippi River to earn his Master’s of Arts in Telecommunication (Radio/Television) at the Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois. Then he came back to work home to work at those places I mentioned earlier. After teaching at Bangkok University for five years, he enrolled in the Bangkok University-Ohio University joint doctoral program in Communication Arts in 1993. Since earning his PhD in 1997, he has been teaching full-time at Bangkok University, and teaching part-time at several universities, such as Naresuan University, Suan Dusit University, Kasembundit University, Srinakharinwirot University, and Sukhothaidhammatirat University. Being an advisor and a thesis defense committee for Master degree at the universities has also been a big part of his profession.

Broadcasting has been his emphasis, therefore researches and academic articles are mainly related such as “Impacts of Antismoking PSAs on Television Viewers”, “Television Exposure and Perception of Television Viewers on Social Reality”, “Importance of Media Ethics in Chaotic Society”, “Media Literacy and Television Stations’ Responsibilities”, “Media Responsibilities and Accountability”, and “Community Radio in Thailand”.

Besides Broadcasting, intercultural communication has been another area that he has done my research and articles on. “An Investigation of International Students’ Uncertainty Reduction and Communication Satisfaction on American Campuses”, “Uncertainty Reduction in Communication”, and “Information Technologies, and Social Change” are a few of his works related to the intercultural communication.

“Principles in Communication”, “Introduction to Broadcasting” (several editions), and “Mass Media and Society” are three texts that had been published to be used by students in the last ten years.

Dr Montira Tadaamnuaychai has graduated PhD from the School of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University.  She specialises in Entertainment Industry Management and Production, Thai Film Production, and Thai Film Distribution.  She has been given the opportunities to work with International Trade Department, Ministry of Commerce to promote Thai films in Cannes Film Festival 2017, American Film Market 2017, and upcoming events in 2018.

Chaihanchanchai has received her PhD and Master’s degree from the Faculty of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University and Bachalor’s degree in English from the Faculty of Humanities, Srinakarinwirot University.

Her research interest includes integrated marketing communications, consumer behaviour, brand communications, and communication theory and research.

Dr Ongart Singlumpong receives his doctoral degree in Mass Communication from Thammasat University in 2013.  He is currently a lecturer in the Master of Communications Programme in Strategic Communications, School of Communication Arts, Bangkok University.  Previously, he had been invited to be a lecturer and academic service provider and committee in high-ranked universities in Thailand.

 

Before turning his half-life to academic profession, he has experienced in media business as Senior Executive Vice President of Channel 8 (Digital Terrestrial Television), RS Public Company Limited and Director of television dramas.  His career successes include best television station, Dao Mekala Award, best executive producer, Daradaily Award, and best television station, Thep Thong Award.

 

His academic and professional contributions are music video production, television drama production, television programme production, script writing for television drama, film production, directing and producing feature film, script writing for film, film marketing, film criticism, electronic media management and entrepreneurship, media and entertainment business, management of mass media organization, and political communication.

Assistant Professor Dr Pataraporn Sangkapreecha holds the Doctorate of Arts degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting (First Class Honors) and Master’s degree in Public Relations (Gold Medal) from Bangkok University, Thailand. She is currently an assistant professor in the School of Communication Arts, Bangkok University and teaches all levels of students from undergraduate to graduate in Broadcasting Department and Digital Marketing Communications Programme.

She has published her research in prestigious peer-reviewed journals as well as various both national and international conference proceedings on a variety of research topics including Thai Cyber Culture, Online Romantic Relationships, Online Information Resources, Buddhist Beliefs, Peace Journalism, Korean Wave, Television Dramas, and Online Social Media etc.

Assistant Professor Dr Tanyatorn Panyasopon has received his doctoral degree in Interpersonal Communication from Bangkok University, Master’s degree in Theatre from the City College of City University of New York, USA, and Bachelor’s degree in Japanese (2nd class honours) from Chulalongkorn University.  His academic excellence is also evidenced from certificates in Japanese Language and Training from Tokyo and Saitama, Japan.

He has gained academic experience for 29 years, professional experience for 36 years, and workshops organised and taught for 25 years and specially expertised in qualitative research in mass communication, new media management, radio and television production management, international communication, broadcast announcing, broadcast criticism, scriptwriting for radio, television and film, acting, and directing.

He has published his academic works in top local and global conferences and journals.  He is, likewise, invited to be a guest speaker at the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission.

Mr Siwat Chawareewong is currently the CEO of GroupM Thailand, a media investment and communication company under WPP, the largest advertising network in the world.  He leads 600 of people in 7 business units to bring advantages to GroupM clients.  Prior to working with GroupM, Siwat was the CEO of mInteraction, the largest digital agency in Thailand that he founded in 2007.  mInteraction was recognized as the digital agency of the year for Thailand in year 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Mr Chawareewong was named digital person of the year of GroupM APAC in 2008, and digital agency head of the year of Thailand in Y2016.

Mr Chawareewong also drives the growth of digital advertising industry in the country.  He was the first President of Digital Advertising Association (Thailand) or DAAT.  He was also the former President of Thai Webmaster Association as well as lecturers in many top universities in Thailand.

Mr Chawareeewong has graduated Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Kasetsart University and MBA from Thammasat University.
